Will current events in Israel evolve any further?
The kitty-fighting between Israel and the Palestinians has reached a new climax due to non-stop provocative actions by the Hamas towards Israel. After withdrawing from land (”settlements evacuation”) that has occured in 2005, most of the world thought this situation would come to an end, finally, when Israelis showed they are willing to do eveything for the sake of peace.
But peace has never arrived. Kassam missiles has been flying on a daily basis towards Israel, getting more and more effective – or in other words , destructive. Straight into the civil population, without further hesitations.
When Israel retaliated (over 300 dead in Gazza strip so far in the Israeli defense act) – they proved how affective their airforce still is, with a focused destruction of Hamas’ strategical points, and less than 30% of casualties that are civil population. The effiency of the Israel airforce is very important – after the second Lebanon war that occured in the late 2006, Iran felt more confident about its sources and millitary force. With russian support and much money spent, Iranians felt that in case where the USA doesn’t interfere in a future combat between the two, they have are a valid candidate for being the overall winners.
Now that Israel shows its unique technology and expertise in the air-based area, all other countries that had thought about harrasing the Israeli civillians, we’ll think things over again.
